Cleveland Rocks - Part Two

We visited the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame on Friday.
We spent four hours there.
I am not a huge music buff, but I really, really liked it.
Well worth the money.  If you get a chance, definitely go.
I hope you enjoy the photos.
We also went on cruise and out to dinner that same day.
Check in tomorrow to see if everyone made it on board the ship :O
Enjoy your night.
 Yes, they are fools :)

Cleveland Rocks - Part One

Dave, Nana, DJ and I went to Cleveland on Thursday for a little vacation.
None of us had ever been there before.
We loved it.
We got there Thursday afternoon, stopped at a local pub named Fergies, had gyros and a couple of beers...
And then we headed to Progressive Field to watch the Cleveland Indians play the New York Yankees...
We had wonderful seats on the third base line which provided for wonderful views...
We watched and hoped (along with fellow team mates) that A Rod would hit his 600th home run...
He didn't hit a home run that night, but that's alright because the Yankees won 11-4.
It was a great, great night.
Part two tomorrow :)
Have a great night.

Old Nautical Wisdom

Red at night,
Sailor's delight.
Red in the morning,
Sailors take warning.

Enjoy tonight and tomorrow.
Looks like it is going to be beautiful :)

At the End of a Freshly Paved Road

live two dogs...
that love nothing more than to go for an evening walk...
down paths framed with Queen Anne's Lace...
old hemlock trees...
and glimpses of fall...
I must go now.
I have one dog that waits patiently for me...
Thank you Snoop.
Let's finish our walk.
We can tell Heidi and Violet about it when we get back home:)

Blueberry Muffins

Yesterday I spent the day cleaning and preparing to paint my son DJ's room.  He is not in favor of this AT ALL!!! Nonetheless, I continued on.  The men (Dave and DJ) moved a bookshelf to the barn and carried photos and pictures to the barn where they will be stored until the room is complete.  There was one picture, however, that I could not put in the barn.  It is a poster that I had framed.  I purchased the poster while visiting Sweden for a family reunion when the children were very young.  It is a picture of a little boy feeding a bear blueberries.  That little boy in the poster reminds me so much of DJ.
So to thank my boys for helping me with my project, I decided to make them blueberry muffins this morning.
I got out my favorite Betty Crocker Cookbook that my dear friend, Pat, gave me,
got out the ingredients, and got to work..
They baked for 20 minutes...
Cooled for 30 minutes...
And most likely will be gone by tomorrow.
Unless I freeze half of them, that is :)
I hope the rest of your weekend is enjoyable.
Thank you again boys :)

What's For Dinner?

How about baked chicken, garden fresh vegetables sauteed in olive oil and butter,
and a slice of chocolate zucchini bread for dessert?
You can even wash it down with a nice cold glass of milk.
If you can get the food in your mouth, that is :)
Have a great night!!!
