I don't really like to complain.
Well, at least not on the blog.
Today is going to be the exception.
About two weeks ago, I came home from work and saw a cat carrier laying on the side of my road.
So I backed up just to make sure there wasn't a cat in there.
It was really cold.
Temperatures were in the single digits.
Wind chill below zero.
No cat.
Fast forward to today.
I look out to the barn.
Gray cat, green eyes. Thought it was Suzie.
Nope, Suzie just came in through the bathroom window.
Cat living in my barn.
Asked DJ to go out to the barn and check on the cat.
Sweet, nice cat with stripes on his/her tail.
Welcome to your new home Stripes.
Shame on your previous owners.
Irresponsible pet ownership is not acceptable in our home.
You will have a wonderful life with us.
Spaying and neutering is the next item on your agenda.
You made a good choice choosing us as your family.
Welcome to the family...
***Edited to note that cat is definitely a young male that needs to be neutered. Spay and neuter your animals. It is part of responsible pet ownership.***
That's really good of you Momma :)
ReplyDeleteAmen...and thank you for giving said cat a wonderful new life!
ReplyDeleteThank you Alexandra and Bev. Stripes gets his shots tomorrow morning.
