Breakfast for My Princess

Because I love my daughter, I will be serving her the very best when she arrives home. Her first breakfast will be:

Egg Casserole from the cookbook, Sharing and Caring With Love from Vincent House

8 slices white bread
10 oz sharp cheddar cheese
4 cups milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp onion powder
dash pepper
1/2 lb bacon
8 eggs

Toast bread and cut into cubes and put in greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle cheese over toast cubes. Beat eggs; add milk, salt, mustard, onion powder and pepper together and pour over cheese. Cover and chill overnight. Uncover and bake at 325 for one hour. Fry bacon until crisp. Crumble over casserole last 10 minutes of baking time. Serve immediately.

Refreshments will include orange juice and coffee.

I am really looking forward to preparing this meal. Can't wait.

    you should make it whole wheat* bread; i had enough white bread for a lifetime over the past 4 months!
